Teach Follower Spells : Elder Scrolls Skyrim
Ever wanted to teach Lydia to throw fireballs by day, and put her healing hands on you by night? Well in Skyrim, you can teach followers spells.
THIS IS A RUMOR. I have tried to replicate it with varying degrees of success: re:none. I have been told your follower must be of a certain level and must have the magicka to use the spell, also to know if the spell tome is learned, it will have vanished from your inventory. Your follower can choose to use the tome or not whenever they want, almost like how they decide to equip items.
In Skyrim you get followers, people who follow you into battle to help you, and to get in your f*cking way. Lydia is the best example, this sweet little number joins you after completing a quest and journeys with you. She smashes faces with whatever weapons and armor you give her. This is all well and good, but what if she keeps getting her butt kicked, or she cannot reach an enemy... or you just want her to be more badass.
Have no fear! Teach Lydia some magicka spells!
You heard me. (pictured right) Want her to learn how to summon her own Atronach, maybe learn how to heal herself so she stops getting herself killed by Sabrecats.
It's easy to do.
- Take the spell tome from your inventory and drop it on the ground while you have the follower you want to learn the spell with you. (Lydia of course)
- Talk to your follower (If it isn't Lydia, you're gay) and tell him/her to pick it up.
- Watch in disbelief as your next battle unfolds with your follower casting Healing Hands on the dragon you're trying to kill. What a b*tch.
Enjoy. Lydia also likes to cast fireballs before you loot corpses to fling the body so you must go chase it... So first, make sure you marry her and stick her in the kitchen, permanently.
