Illusion : Elder Scrolls Skyrim
One of 18 skills in The Elder Scrolls Skyrim V : Skyrim, Illusion is a support magicka skill which falls under the mage play style.
Why is Illusion Bad Ass
Illusion is one of the most bad ass skills because Illusion caters to the real sick sons of b*tches out there. Picture this scene; you break into a young couples home under the veil of invisibility, you see them talking while they cook themselves a quiet dinner. You decide to cast your frenzy spell on the woman. She turns to her husband and starts cutting him with the knife she was dicing onions with, tears flowing from her face; she cuts him over and over and over again. In a panic the man turns to run, as he will not lay a hand on his wife. As he starts to run you cast a courage spell on him. He stands there and looks his wife in her eyes as she takes his life, tears running down both of their faces.
Funny thing is, they were crying because they were cutting onions.

What does Illusion Affect
As with all spell schools Illusion has an effect on all Illusion classed spells. Increasing their effectiveness. As with all other skills in Skyrim, increasing the skill allows you access to powerful perks (pictured right) that allow you to reduce magicka cost and allowing your abilities to affect more powerful NPCs. Not only that, but increasing your skill level unlocks new tiers of spells. A full spell list follows;

Increasing Illusion Skill in Skyrim
Increasing any magicka skill is done by repeatedly casting the abilities. Combat abilities must be used in combat, and non combat abilities do not contribute as much as they are always able to be used. Increasing Illusion can be tough, you must go out of your way to look for creative ways to use these spells. Have your enemies destroy themselves as you watch, calm them down and just walk by. Either way, you have to be creative in order to level this up.

Illusion Tips
Invisibility is a very strong spell, make sure you are not seen casting it or it negates the purpose of the spell.
You can level up fastest if you cast Muffle on yourself as you walk around, even if you aren't sneaking.
